Motion Reel 2024
I currently work as a motion designer at The Washington Post, adapting vertical video for Instagram Stories, creating animated artwork for article pages, and bringing motion to interactive stories. I work primarily in Adobe After Effects with assets created in either Illustrator or Photoshop.

2023 was the year that I got into birds. It was also, coincidentally, the year that the Washington Post published this story about the mental benefits of bird-watching. With the help of illustrator George Wyesol and designer/art director Chelsea Conrad, this animation I created for Instagram won the Society for News Design bronze award for "video stories design."
